It's been a minute........ here is an important subject I have been holding off on and now it's time......RSVP talk

Ease of Movement Yoga Therapy is getting busy and WOW is this wonderful to experience.  Thank you all for showing up and supporting with your presence and involvement.  Please make sure that you RSVP for classes as we are limited to 8 spots per class.  Now that classes are filling, it is important for you to give me notice for cancellation.  24 hours would be best and morning of for evening classes, if it's just not possible for 24 hours.  Of course I understand things come up.  Sometimes life happens but mostly it can become a habit that is not supportive for either the studio or the client.  It's similar with being late to class.  If it happens once in awhile, life happens.  If it's a habit then re-evaluation is integral for relationship building vs relationship destroying.  Respect must work both ways.  That includes finishing class on time for me.  In the Fall with multiple classes per day, it will be a must for classes to be finished on time.  And those of you who have supportively told me I need to be very clear with this to avoid this boundary being taken advantage of....... I not only agree with it, I fully support this thinking.  This is a business AND a place of healing.  As a teacher and yoga therapist, I take what I do seriously and playfully for ease.  I also give a lot myself to what I do and the people I work with.  So while I encourage RSVPing, I also encourage having to cancel with warning.  Again, thank you all very much for your presence and support as a wonderful community of yogis.  Thank you for strongly telling me to share my boundaries from a business perspective.  Recently, I had this discussion about the 2 people who exist within me and I know, I am not alone.  The yoga teacher and the studio owner.  They are NOT the same.  They have very different goals and responsibilities.  It's not so simple to be both.  Thank you all for your love and feedback.  Thank you all for your support and presence.  See you in the yoga room........
